Kozuki Toki Came From The Distant Past Via Her Time-Time Fruit

The seed
Kozuki Toki states her Time-Time ability (Toki Toki no Mi ) “cannot return to the past… but it can leap into the future,” and the survivors note she “had not been born in our era, but long, long ago .” A named character explicitly born in a far earlier age who time-travelled forward is a strong Void-Century-adjacent seed.
First on-page demonstration of the seed: as young Amatsuki Toki (Kozuki Toki ) she states she was born “about 800 years ago,” is 26, and survives by “jump[ing] to the future again” (pp. 10, 17) — her forward-only time-leap and ancient origin shown, not merely narrated.
Ch. 967 pp. 11–12 — Toki stranded in present-day Wano (Oden-era flashback)
Toki , exhausted, falls ill near Wano and is left behind by Oden (pp. 11–12) — the beat that strands her in present-day Wano and sets up her forward-only time-leap. (Keep status: pending — the macro-plot reconnection to the Void-Century / poneglyph lore is still forward.)

Now explicit on-page: as she casts the time-leap, Kozuki Toki tells Oden she “fled here from the past” and came “from 800 years in the past ” — placing her origin squarely in the Void-Century timeframe (~800–900 years ago). Reinforces the distant-past seed; the deeper poneglyph / Void-Century connection remains open.

Why this matters
A chekhov-explicit + dialogue-from-dead-character seed: when Oda gives a (now-absent) character a one-way forward time-leap and a birth “long, long ago,” he is loading a bridge between the present and the deep past — the natural connective tissue to the Void Century and the Kozuki poneglyph legacy.
