- Etymology : サディ Sadi ← sadism / sadist (cf. the Marquis de Sade) — her whole motif is sadomasochism (the torturer who loves screams). Secondary: Arabic سعدي Saʿdī “luck”; possibly partly modeled on the Arab corsair Sayyida al-Hurra (tentative), matching the Impel Down staff’s Arab/Egyptian styling.
