A Living Bisected Samurai On Punk Hazard Points To An Unrevealed Devil Fruit

The seed
The bisection’s persistence is shown again: a separate living half of Kin’emon (his torso) is conscious in the lake, sensed by the head/legs half (“I can feel a watery sensation about my chest”). Both halves remain alive, as the cutting power implied. (Note already confirmed @0663 — corroboration only, no status change.)
The severed samurai head — still demanding its body and searching for its son — is carried by one Straw-Hat group; it refuses to “plead to a scoundrel” pirate even as its head is squeezed. The living-bisected samurai persists on the same island where the “Surgeon of Death” Trafalgar Law is now the resident Warlord, pointing the dismemberment at a surgeon’s Devil-Fruit power.
The samurai now acts as separate living pieces — a silent two-sword torso (no head ⇒ cannot speak; terrorizes Team Brook, pp. 13-15), running legs leading the children (p. 10), and a head asking “about my torso” (the chapter title, p. 12). Crucially, the chapter ends by revealing Trafalgar Law Punk Hazard (p. 18), making a surgeon’s Devil Fruit the prime suspect for the dismemberment and identifying the “buffoon of a Warlord” the legs swore revenge on (Ch. 656 ).
The samurai’s living severed head is found in the Deck-102 cell, and his face is built from detachable cube-like segments (“Puzzles”) that must be reassembled correctly — a specific cutting/segmentation tell. He states he “know[s] not the name of the one responsible” for cutting him “down to this size” (pp. 8-10). Confirms he is dismembered into multiple still-living pieces (legs @0656, head @0657, fighting upper body = the “killer samurai”), all pointing to an unrevealed cutting/spatial Devil Fruit loose on Punk Hazard. He is also identified as a samurai of the Land of Wano by his topknot.
Luffy pulls a human body out of the felled dragon’s head and seemingly rips it in half — but “there’s no mark to suggest he’s been torn in two — so he was just a pair of legs.” The legs stay alive, talk (“poot”-ing), sense presences, and hop away vowing revenge on a “buffoon of a Warlord.” A clean, survivable bisection of a living person implies a Devil-Fruit / surgical power loose on Punk Hazard .
The payoff
The samurai’s head names the Warlord Trafalgar Law Ope-power (Op-Op Fruit , named on-page Ch. 661 ) — loose on the island. The “unrevealed Devil Fruit” the bisection pointed to is Law’s, already combat-shown at Sabaody (Ch. 504 ). Status flipped pending → confirmed @0663 (self-contained on-page payoff within the batch window ≤0667).
(The narrower seed — a power can survivably bisect a living body, and the samurai is its victim — is now resolved. The over-arching arc mysteries the samurai feeds — who he is, why Law cut him, Momonosuke , the dragon — remain open in their own Threads/seeds.)

Why this matters
Classic Oda chekhov-explicit: an absurd, comedic image (talking severed legs) is planted as a literal clue to an off-screen power-set that will drive the arc. The reader is meant to laugh now and only later realize the bisection is real, survivable, and the deliberate handiwork of a specific power.
