- ROBIN BREAKS SPANDAM'S SPINE with a parting Clutch (Hana Hana no Mi) (p. 14). As the Merry pulls away she sprouts arms on the Director — 'Wait... S-stop... Director!!' — and 'CLUTCH!!' bends him backward with a KRIK!! ('GAAH!! Director!!'), her final blow against the man who tortured her at Enies Lobby.
- FRANKY LAUNCHES THE MERRY WITH COUP DE VENT (pp. 14-16). On Nami's cue ('Now, Franky!'), Franky fires his wind cannon to hurl the Going Merry ~30,000 feet into the air, clear over the warship fleet and the waterfall ('They've flown beyond the fleet!!') — paired with Usopp's 'SUPER SMOKE STAR' smoke screen (p. 15) to foul the pursuit.
- AOKIJI APPEARS AND DECLINES TO PURSUE; the incident is framed as the World Government's defeat. A man on a bicycle (Aokiji) watches the escape and judges 'that's enough,' choosing not to give chase (p. 17). His closing narration over the Straw Hats' victory cheer calls the incident '...a complete and utter defeat' and warns the crew have 'sullied the flag of the World Government' — 'now you guys are in a lot of trouble' (pp. 18-19).

Summary
With Robin freed and Lucci beaten, the crew is trapped between the encircling Buster Call fleet and the waterfall — until the Going Merry, the ship they watched swept away and presumed destroyed at Water Seven, sails into the middle of the warships on her own to rescue them. Nobody can explain how she got there; the crew piles aboard and Robin is reunited with them at last. The Marines open fire from all sides “on Admiral Aokiji’s orders” (a lie), but every shot misses: the Gates of Justice have begun closing — Sanji secretly threw the lever on the Bridge of Hesitation’s third support — and the blocked currents spin up a whirlpool that seizes the warships’ rudders and ruins their aim. Nami reads “the winning path” through the whirlpool and has Chopper steer the Merry along it while Luffy bumper-saves the ship from a direct hit. As the Merry rides the current toward the waterfall, Robin sprouts arms on Spandam and snaps his spine with a parting Clutch, and Franky launches the ship ~30,000 feet over the fleet with Coup de Vent, behind Usopp’s Super Smoke Star screen. The Puffing Tom sea train ferries the rest of the allies (Franky Family / Galley-La) clear. A man on a bicycle — Aokiji — watches them go and decides “that’s enough,” declining to pursue. His narration frames the whole affair as the World Government’s “complete and utter defeat,” warning that the crew have “sullied the flag” and are now in serious trouble, as the Straw Hats cheer their victory aboard the Merry.
New reveals
- The Going Merry returns on her own (pp. 2-4) — the ship swept down the canal Ch. 359 and presumed destroyed sails into the Buster Call fleet to rescue the crew; nobody can explain it (“WHO BROUGHT HER HERE?!”). The unspoken set-up for the ship-soul reveal of the next chapter.
- Sanji closed the Gates of Justice (pp. 8-10) — the gates “started closing without warning,” and the blocked currents generate a whirlpool that throws off the warships’ aim; the lever is “on the third support of the Bridge of Hesitation,” and Sanji threw it (“We weren’t gonna make it out with hard work alone”).
- Robin breaks Spandam’s spine (p. 14) — a parting Clutch (Hana Hana no Mi) bends the Director backward (KRIK!!), her final blow against her torturer.
- Franky launches the Merry with Coup de Vent (pp. 14-16) — ~30,000 feet into the air, clear of the fleet and the waterfall, paired with Usopp’s Super Smoke Star screen.
- Aokiji declines to pursue (p. 17) — appears on a bicycle, judges “that’s enough”; his closing narration calls the incident the WG’s “complete and utter defeat” and warns the crew have “sullied the flag of the World Government” (pp. 18-19).

Open questions raised
- How did the Going Merry get to Enies Lobby? No one sailed her here; the crew is baffled. (Answered next chapter.)
- Is Spandam permanently crippled, or only temporarily downed by Robin’s Clutch?
- Now that the crew have openly defied the World Government (“sullied the flag”), what reprisal — bounties, Admirals — follows out of Enies Lobby?
- Why does Aokiji, who could presumably stop them, choose not to pursue?
