Profile

A bridge at Enies Lobby that forms the halfway point of the route from the inner facility to the Gates of Justice (Ch. 408 pp. 16-17). Per Spandam’s exposition to the captive Robin: an underwater passage beneath the sea leads to the Bridge of Hesitation; crossing the bridge halfway and opening the gate causes “the other half to rise from beneath the sea,” completing the bridge through the Gates of Justice. Establishes the Gates as a literal point-of-no-return the rescuers must beat the captive to. Shown only as a labeled cross-section diagram this chapter (not yet walked on-page).
