Summary
Aboard the racing Rocketman, the masked “Sniper King from Sniper Island” introduces himself to the assembled Straw Hats and Sea-Train allies as a friend of “Mr. Usopp,” there to help — and everyone plays along. Sanji explains that CP9 exploited a wound from Nico Robin’s past, but the crew flatly rejects letting Robin die for them: they’re going to save her no matter what she wants. Kokoro sketches a map of Enies Lobby — the Gates of Justice, Tower of Law, Courthouse, Iron Fence, Island and Main Gates — and explains the assault: the allies will force open the gates so the train can pass, then the Straw Hats launch onto the island, sixty-strong against thousands. The Gates of Justice rise into view, their mechanism revealed (the doors crack open only for the condemned, fronted by a nest of Neptunians that makes the passage safe like the Calm Belt). Impatient, Luffy Gum-Gum Rockets over the Main Gate alone, lands inside the judicial island under a hail of Marine fire, and sprints toward the Island Gate. The defenders identify him by his hundred-million bounty as Straw Hat Luffy and call for backup, while up ahead Robin keeps moving and the alliance prepares to storm the castle.
New reveals
- Sniper King. The masked hero “Sniper King, from Sniper Island” introduces himself as a friend of “Mr. Usopp” sent to lend a hand; the crew and allies recognize the conceit and play along (Usopp in disguise, post-Going-Merry split) (pp. 2-3).
- Robin’s past. Sanji: CP9 exploited a vulnerability from Robin’s past. The crew rejects her self-sacrifice — “It’s not like she actually wants to die” — and resolves to rescue her regardless (pp. 4-5).
- Map of Enies Lobby. Kokoro draws the island layout from memory: Gates of Justice (rear of the island), Tower of Law, Courthouse, Iron Fence, Island Gate, Main Gate, plus a waterfall at the back (“the black part”) (p. 6).
- First on-page view of Enies Lobby — the Gates of Justice tower over the sea (p. 8).
- Gates of Justice mechanics. The doors open only a sliver to admit a condemned criminal; on their far side writhes a nest of Neptunians (Sea Kings), as around the Grand Line in the Calm Belt — they create a way to cross the sea safely. Rescuers must intercept a prisoner before they pass through the gates (pp. 9-10).
- The plan. The allies force the Main + Island Gates so the train can pass; the Straw Hats wait, then launch off the Rocketman from the Main Gate onto the island in five minutes; roughly 60 allies against an estimated 2,000–3,000 enemy (pp. 7-9).
- Luffy jumps the gun. Luffy Gum-Gum Rockets over the Main Gate solo, breaking off from the plan and landing inside Enies Lobby (pp. 11-14).
- Bounty cited. The defenders identify the lone intruder as Straw Hat Luffy, bounty 100,000,000 berries (pp. 16-17).

Open questions raised
- Who is the “Director” the gate guards report to by transponder snail (p. 15)? (= Spandam, forward.)
- Can ~60 allies actually breach a force of 2,000–3,000 once Luffy has blown surprise by charging in alone (pp. 9, 11-17)?
- What exactly is the “vulnerability from Robin’s past” CP9 used to coerce her (pp. 4-5)?
