The seed
An unseen figure with archaic speech, shown before a grand castle, spots the dragon: “I see… Niddhoggr… So… That’s where thou were!!! ” Identity unshown. Sets up a hunter closing on Elbaf’s treasure as the arc’s next turn.
The hunt concludes in contact: a horned, bat-winged, archaic-speaking superior of the Holy Knights duels Loki-as-Nidhoggr over Elbaf (“His presence is still there!!”, p. 2), deploying “Gazing… Eclipse!!” Strongly implied to be Imu (“Great Imu’s body is not meant to withstand the outside,” p. 12).
The payoff

The predicted descent happens: the “being greater than the Knights of God” lands on Elbaf (p. 11) and goes straight at Loki — “Who said you could release him?!! ” (p. 15) — battering and marking him with “Omen” black flames. Motive stated as hunting Harald’s killer (p. 16); the Niddhoggr-seizure reading remains open. Advance, not close.
