The Covenant With the Great One Grants Immortality and Binds Signers to Imu's Voice

The seed
Ch. 1169 pp. 8–9 spell out the covenant tiers and powers, and show Harald controlled/immortalized by it. Gaban (with a young Shanks ) explains: the shallowest tier (“Shallows Covenant”) already means “we can’t resist as long as we’re within that freak’s range”; the deeper tier makes one a full Holy Knight of God with an undying body, superhuman strength, and Abyss-travel — in exchange, “you cannot defy the orders of the Great One, whose voice will reach you at any range.”
The Great One herself, present-day and on-page: “my faithful servant Harald” — the covenant-servitude of a king, asserted by its principal. Also live: Sommers survives being eaten (@1175→1180), extending the covenant-immortality’s demonstrated ceiling.
