The seed

The payoff

(Forward — pending. The deeper link between the Gorosei monster-forms and Elbaf’s mythology, and the nature of the WG–giants grudge, are not resolved on-page ≤1117.)

Why this matters

A villain’s power-set is retroactively keyed to a culture the protagonists are about to visit: the Gorosei beast-forms (model-named @1110: Gyuki/Itsumade/Fengxi/Bakotsu/Sandworm) are framed, via a giant’s in-world recognition, as a “god spoken of in Elbaph.” Oda plants the next arc’s mythology inside the current arc’s antagonist — a parallel-arc-structure seed that converts the Egghead climax into an Elbaf trailer.
