Summary

The Five Elders cut loose on Egghead. Having disembarked, the five transform into monstrous yokai-beasts — each form is named on a label card (Saturn → Gyuki, Mars → Itsumade, Warcury → Fengxi, Nusjuro → Bakotsu, Ju Peter → Sandworm) — and begin tearing across the island, with Saturn announcing they’ll “wait seven minutes or so” before they “begin.” The black-flame beasts sink ships, gore and shut down the protective Pacifista (Nusjuro’s skeletal horse Bakotsu slashes PX-III 016; others are mysteriously “frozen in the circuits to the brain”), and bear down on Bonney and the Straw Hats at the northeast shore. Meanwhile, at Sacred Mariejois’ “Chamber of Power,” a Vega Coffee advertisement plays on the snail-screens as the world waits for Vegapunk’s broadcast to begin (“How many minutes left?”). The crew scrambles to escape by Den Den Mushi: Brook and Lilith have the Sunny safe, Sanji coordinates, and Jinbei resolves to drag Zoro — who is locked in combat with a leopard-hybrid Rob Lucci (“Three Sword Style… Spot Hunt!!”) — back to the ship. The Five Elders glimpse Luffy’s glowing Nika form inside one beast’s maw and remark it is “a familiar sight.” As a beast moves to devour the trapped Luffy, an enormous sword cleaves it: Giants have arrived, laughing and greeting Luffy like old friends — “It’s been too long, Straw Hat!!”
