- The PACIFISTA's in-universe construction is explained for the first time on-page: Sentomaru exclaims it was built from Bartholomew Kuma's body and re-creates Kizaru's laser attack power — Vegapunk's work ('In addition to Bartholomew Kuma's body, you recreated Kizaru's attack power, Vegapunk!') (p. 8).
- Robin deduces the Pacifista is NOT the real Kuma: the real one warps and dodges, does not fire shock waves, and uses paws — this one fires lasers and does none of that. 'There are two of them, and they're both really strong'; 'even if he's a fake, it's another huge problem' (p. 5).

Summary
At Sabaody, the Straw Hats face the human-weapon “Pacifista” that wears Bartholomew Kuma’s face. It fires a beam from its hands and mouth; Franky geeks out over the impossible weapon while the rest scatter, then the monster trio — Luffy (“Gum-Gum”), Zoro (“Three-Swords Style: Six Hundred Pound Phoenix Cannon”), Sanji (“Diable… Mouton”) — knock it down in a combined strike, only for it to rise again (pp. 2-5). Robin reasons it cannot be the real Kuma: the genuine Warlord warps, uses paws, and does not fire lasers — so this is a copy, and “there are two of them.” Across the groves the rookie Supernovas clash with the same weapons and with Admiral Kizaru himself: Urouge (“Karmic Punishment”) swells with absorbed damage, X Drake morphs into an ancient-species Zoan dinosaur, Basil Hawkins (“Demon Face”) tanks a Kizaru hit body-intact, and Scratchmen Apoo finally arrives, blasting Kizaru with weaponized music. Vegapunk’s man Sentomaru reveals the Pacifista is built from Kuma’s body and re-creates Kizaru’s laser, and goads ex-Marine Drake. Kizaru bleeds red, mildly surprised, and keeps swatting “you little rookies” down. The chapter ends on Volume 53’s opening SBS Question Corner.
