Six techniques converge on the fate-as-mechanism reading specifically (as opposed to D-as-oath-letter, which the D is Davy Will Be Made Textual prediction covers):

• in-universe-narrator-articulation (Will Of Fate Force Willing His Survival Doctrine, Smoker Ch. 99: “some kind of force is willing this man’s survival”) — the doctrine is named-on-page by an in-universe observer. The mechanism is diegetic, not authorial.

The 2026-07-25 entry above carries a 2026-09-07 patch that fixed its 1188 quotes. Its 1189 quotes were still TCB-contaminated and are corrected here; 1190–1192 were entirely unpriced.

The triad at final-war scale is still 0-for-3, and the status does not move. But Elbaf has now run a scaled-down rehearsal of the exact pattern this note forecasts, which is worth logging for the next scorer:
