Resolved @ Ch. 1088 — the Blackbeard Pirates took Koby as a hero-hostage to pressure the World Government into recognizing a “Blackbeard Kingdom,” held him at Fullalead, and Garp’s SWORD/Marine squad rescued him — at the cost of Garp staying behind.
- Ch. 1059 the Blackbeard Pirates abduct Captain Koby at the close of the Amazon Lily siege, Blackbeard citing a debt from the Rocky Port Incident.
- Ch. 1080 Koby is confirmed held at Fullalead; Blackbeard wants him alive as a hero-hostage to leverage recognition of a “Blackbeard Kingdom,” while SWORD officers raid the port and Vice Admiral Garp drops a battleship with Galaxy Impact.
