Summary

On the Pirate Island of Fullalead in the New World, captive Navy captain Koby stages a breakout, freeing a column of slaves bound for “Meow-rket” and acting as a decoy so they can reach the sea (pp. 2–4). The Blackbeard Pirates scramble to recapture him — Blackbeard has ordered him taken alive because he means to use Koby, a famous hero, as a bargaining chip to force the World Government to recognize Fullalead as the “Blackbeard Kingdom”, a member-state of the WG (pp. 6–8). Koby counters that it won’t work: he reveals he is a member of SWORD, the Navy’s deniable special force whose agents have pre-submitted their resignations and can be cut loose at any moment (pp. 7–8). Three SWORD officers then storm the port to rescue him — clay-man Prince Grus, flower-gunner Hibari, and the whip-wielding Kujaku (granddaughter of Tsuru) — while Koby’s side-deal to free the imprisoned Gecko Moria surfaces (pp. 9–13). A Navy battleship drops out of the sky carrying Vice Admiral Garp, “the Hero of Legend,” who levels the island with Galaxy Impact and declares Koby the future of the Navy and his own protégé (pp. 14–17).

New reveals

  • Koby’s captivity is on-page: he is being held at Fullalead and breaks out, freeing fellow captive slaves (“the slaves headin’ to Meow-rket”) and drawing the pirates onto himself as a decoy (pp. 2–4).
  • Koby carries a Cross Guild bounty: a five-star REWARD poster worth “roughly 500 million berries” — pirates note “normally Navy captains are only one star” and expect the Cross Guild to pay for killing him (p. 2).
  • Blackbeard’s national ambition: Teach wants to turn Pirate Island Fullalead into its own country — the “Blackbeard Kingdom” — that is a member of the World Government, and is using Koby’s life as the bargaining chip (pp. 6–8).
  • SWORD’s nature explained on-page: its members “have already submitted their resignations,” can ignore any orders, may choose to fight the Four Emperors without clearance, and the Navy “assumes no responsibility for their actions” and can cut them loose at any moment (pp. 7–8).
  • New SWORD officers / rescue squad: Kujaku (Rear Admiral, granddaughter of Tsuru, Whip-Whip Fruit, “Discipline-Woman”), Hibari (Lt. Commander, fires gun-jamming “flower rounds”), and Prince Grus (Rear Admiral, Glorp-Glorp Fruit, “Clay-Man,” forms a golem) execute the on-site rescue (pp. 11–13).
  • Gecko Moria is a prisoner on Fullalead: Koby reveals he “had to team up with a pirate” who demanded he “free Moria from the cell in the back” (p. 9).
  • Blackbeard officers’ Devil Fruits named on-caption: Avalo Pizarro — Isle-Isle Fruit, “Island-Man” (he is the talking island/rock); Vasco Shot — Glug-Glug Fruit, “Booze-Man”; San Juan Wolf — Huge-Huge Fruit, “Gigantification-Man”; Shiryu — Clear-Clear Fruit, “Invisible-Man” (re-captioned) (pp. 4–5).
  • Garp returns to the front: a battleship descends from the sky onto Fullalead carrying Vice Admiral Garp, “the Hero of Legend” thought retired; he uses Galaxy Impact and names Koby “the future of the Navy” and “my… protégé!!” (pp. 14–17).

  • p. 15 — Garp reveal: a near-full-page laughing figure with the lower-center burst-card “VICE ADMIRAL GARP!!!” + panicking-pirate reaction insets. Restages his Water-7 introduction splash (Ch. 432 p.2, “Navy HQ Vice Admiral” nameplate) — the hero-side label-splash grammar. See Garp Hero-of-the-Navy Reveal Restages As The Hero-of-Legend Label-Splash.
  • p. 16 — Garp’s “Galaxy Impact”; “Koby… he’s my… protégé!!” — full-height column: oversized bold technique-lettering over a monochrome destruction-burst. The seed-panel restaged by Koby’s own ”…IMPACT!!!” eight chapters later (Ch. 1088 p.15) — finisher-panel inheritance. See Koby Restages Garp’s Galaxy Impact Finisher-Panel.
  • p. 17 — Full-page spread: Galaxy Impact craters Fullalead. (mirror candidate.)

Open questions raised

  • Will Blackbeard achieve WG recognition for a “Blackbeard Kingdom,” and what does statehood buy a Yonko?
  • Why is Gecko Moria imprisoned at Fullalead, and who is the pirate Koby allied with to free him?
  • Can Garp extract Koby from a Yonko’s home island, and what happens when Blackbeard himself answers Galaxy Impact?
  • Why does the Cross Guild value a Navy captain at a five-star, 500-million-berry bounty?
