Summary

The chapter opens with the Buggy cover-story Part 20: “Discovery! Our Pirate Ship!!!” (page 1) — the tall blonde Mystery Woman (heart-emblem coat, post-smoothing Alvida-inferred from Ch. 51 Part 12) at a ship’s wheel beside Richie the lion (roaring “YEAHHHHH!!!” with binoculars), both sharing a thought-bubble of a pirate-galleon they have just spotted. The Ch. 47 Krieg Wootz Armor Brittle axiom is first-on-page-tested: the strongest East-Blue blunt-force impact available (rubber-body iteration) fails to dent the wootz. Krieg’s gloss: “This is wootz steel armor! • What does Luffy do after the carpet-bombing? Page 17 ends in the smoke — chapter cut to SBS. The next-chapter opens with the smoke-clearing reveal. Forward-tell: Luffy is alive and the grit-counts-more-than-steel axiom is about to be empirically demonstrated.
