Why this matters
First canonized character-stat-tier SBS in the series. Three character-stat consequences:
- Beckman’s unrivaled intelligence + brawn is the first canonized stat for the paratext-only-named Red-Hair-Pirates first-mate. The SBS confirms first mate as Beckman’s rank-name (not in-text yet). Forward-payoff: Beckman’s eventual on-page Marineford-tier demonstration (gun-aimed-at-Kizaru etc.).
- Kuro’s #2 IQ slot retroactively validates the Ch. 25-39 three-year-plan villain-grammar — Kuro is canonically the second-smartest character the reader has met so far. The Klahadore-butler 3-year masquerade required exactly the intellectual-tier the SBS confirms.
