SHUNK! CHONK CHONK — Luffy plucks a row of Arlong’s teeth off and grafts them into his own jaw, declaring ‘Now I have shark teeth, too!!!’ The chapter installs a third axis of Devil-Fruit utility: rubber-body as anatomy-theft tool. Previously the fruit has been stretch-attack (Ch. 18 Gum-Gum Pistol, Ch. 22 Whip) and body-shape-mod (Ch. 39 Balloon, Ch. 75 Gum-Gum Spear). Tooth-swap is neither — it is rubber-grabs-villain’s-feature-and-incorporates-it. Arlong’s torn-out tooth-row is back in his mouth by page 8 (he bites Luffy’s arm with re-grown teeth on page 9). ‘They may be my teeth, but your jaws are too weak!
