Chopper-decoy still walks point (BLABBLAB YACK YACK); Crocodile, panting, vows: ‘Mr. Prince…’ / ‘I’ll find him…’ / ‘…and beat him to death!!’ (p. 7).

Inside the cage — water is rising. ‘AAAAAH!! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!! DIE!!! GAAH!!!’ / ‘AAAAH!!! THE WATER!!!’ (p. 8). ‘It’s up to my knees!! The water’s up to my knees!!!’ / ‘If this cage gets flooded, we’re goners!!!’ The cage-platform is now a flooded-floor + Sea-Stone-bars + Bananagator-aquarium-underneath death-trap. Nami devises a plan: ‘I’m gonna make them so mad that they chomp open this cage!!’ — yells ‘COME AND GET US, YOU STUPID BANANAS!!! HEY, YOU STUPID GATORS!!! COME AND GET US!!!’ (pp. 8-9). KLINK… — a handwritten note drops onto the floor: ‘See you later, Crap-Gator, Mr. Prince.’ Crocodile and Robin have left, taking the real key with them, locking Sanji in with the cage and the rising water.

Closing matter: SBS Question Corner (p. 20) — Belle of Kesennuma (Miyagi dialect prank); the General of Higo (Vol. 18 Lizard Runner mistake — that one isn’t carrying a message; maybe that’s why it’s saying ‘Huh?’… ‘Huh? Why am I running?’ — Baroque Works will fire him, of course); Akiko (Vol. 18 Crocus’s S’s-backwards typo confession — Uh-oh!! Um, well, see you in the next volume!!).
