Alabasta — Rain Dinners escape (Ch. 176) — Regurgitates Mr. 3 + key; two cage-room gators one-shot by Luffy & Zoro

• First gator regurgitates Mr. 3 (in wax-ball) + the cage-key (Ch. 176 p. 2) — SPLOOSH!!! THAR SHE BLOWS!!!. The Ch. 0173-0175 key-swallow setup cashes. The gator’s digestive system fails to break the Doru-Doru wax-shell — Mr. 3 emerges alive (see Mr. 3 resurrection). The gator does, however, deliver the cage-key as expected.
• Two cage-room bananagators one-shot by Luffy & Zoro (Ch. 176 pp. 6-7) — “Those two aren’t normal!!” — officer-tier Strawhats reduce the gator-gauntlet to a one-panel mass-defeat. Bananagator-as-Crocodile-pet-trap-asset is now a defeated combat-tier.

Alabasta — Rain Dinners (Mr. Prince operation) (Ch. 175) — plural-Bananagators in aquarium; flood-mechanic + lurable + key-swallower; Sanji’s combat-projectile

• Plural Bananagators revealed (Ch. 175 pp. 8-9, 16-17). The Ch. 0166 single-Bananagator architecture extends to multiple Bananagators in the underground aquarium. They charge the cage-bars en masse when Nami lures them (GRAARRR!! CHOMP!!); pour out from the water onto the cage-chamber platform during Sanji’s combat (p. 16 SPLASH!!! GRAARRR!!). • Aquarium-flooding mechanic (Ch. 175 pp. 8-9). The underground aquarium can flood the cage-platform through the bars (SPLOOSH!! ‘It’s up to my knees!!’) — the Bananagator-aquarium doubles as a cage-flooding-reservoir. First on-page Rain Dinners cage-flooding mechanic. Pre-loads the forward-canon Rain Dinners arc-finale flooded-cage rescue. • One Bananagator swallowed the cage-door key (decoy) (Ch. 175 pp. 12-17). Sanji kicks one specifically (Bad Manners Kick Course!!) that has swallowed the key; the gator coughs it up (BLEGH… KERSPLOOSH!!) (p. 14). But the swallowed key is a decoy — Crocodile holds the real cage-key on his person (p. 18). The gator-key-swallow is Crocodile’s misdirection-asset — the Bananagator-as-decoy-key-host is a deliberate manipulation-setup.
• Audio-identifiable individual (Ch. 175 p. 17). The key-swallowing Bananagator can be identified by growl — “That’s the one that swallowed the key.” Pre-loads the Bananagator-aquarium as a tactical-fauna-with-individual-identifying-features environment.
• Sanji’s combat-projectile (Ch. 175 pp. 4, 12). Sanji uses Bananagators as kicked-projectiles for combat (Bad Manners Kick Course). Two distinct deployments: p. 4 — gator-into-bridge (bridge-collapse); p. 12 — gator-into-cage-chamber-wall (chamber-opener). The Bananagator is now a tactical-fauna-asset for both sides.

• Multiple Bananagators on-page for the first time (Ch. 174 pp. 13-15) — herd patrolling the aquarium-chamber under the Rain Dinners cage. Ch. 0166 single-pet reveal extended to kept-herd. Death-trap function articulated by Crocodile (p. 11). Vivi falls into the aquarium (p. 10) and survives a snap-attempt (p. 14). Alabasta — herd reveal, key-swallow puzzle, giant-individual debut (Ch. 173)

• Multi-Bananagator herd revealed (pp. 4-5): the underwater pen beneath the Rain Dinners cage-room contains multiple Bananagators (not a single pet) — bananas growing from the gators’ tails. “It’s the gators that are weird. The bananas are growing out of the gators.”
• One Bananagator swallows the cage key (pp. 4-5): CHOMP… — “That gator has the key!!” / “…the key to the cage…” The herd is ferocious — even prey on sea monsters.
• Giant Bananagator combat-debut (pp. 15-17): BONG-released individual specimen — Crocodile jokes “He’s one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.” — THOOMs across the dining-hall and shatters the stone staircase with one bite (CHOMP / WHAK!!). Apex-predator combat-feat established. Vivi’s Peacock String is insufficient.
