Falafra — a massive, scarred shirtless man with a hook for one hand. First on-page appearance Ch. 167 pp. 6-8. Royal-Army veteran defected to the Rebel Army; lost his hand in battle protecting Koza (Koza p. 7: “He lost that hand in battle — protecting me…”).
Koza presents Falafra to Kappa (the Nanohana shoeshine-boy pleading to join the rebels) as the moral-counter-argument for civilian-conscription: “Show him, Falafra.” / “Yes, sir.” / Koza: “Or shall I show you the hospital? The graves?” Falafra’s body — the hook, the scars — is the rebel-army’s anti-recruitment exhibit. Kappa is unmoved.
High-signal visual-mirror to Crocodile: Falafra carries the same hook-hand silhouette as Crocodile (Ch. 0166 visual debut). The war’s victim and the war’s architect bear identical scars. The mirror-grammar pre-loads the forward-canon who scarred Crocodile mystery — the wound-iconography Falafra carries here ties to Crocodile’s own forward-canon backstory wound.

(inferred attribution — the wounded vet panel-figure with sand-tanned shaved-head silhouette matches Falafra’s Ch. 0167 description; if not Falafra specifically, a member of the same rebel-officer-cluster).
