- The colossal Blackbeard giant is knocked clean into the sea by Garp’s “Drunken Spitfire” and has to be hauled out before he drowns (“How does Garp do that?!”, p. 3).

- SHOWN asleep (snoring) during the breakout; the crew notes they “only just finished repairing Rocky Port!!” (his gigantism previously wrecked it) and to “not even mention him” (p. 5).
