The crew begins hearing distant BWAAH!! sounds (page 3). The crew misreads them: “What was that? Did you hear something?” / “Maybe it’s the wind.   • Who is the silhouetted figure emerging from inside the whale on a small fishing-ship?
  • Why does Laboon have a corridor with iron doors inside? Someone has engineered a habitable interior into the whale’s anatomy. By whom? (Forward-canonical Ch. 103-104: Crocus built it as a workshop / sanctuary while tending to Laboon.)
  • Why is Laboon at the foot of Reverse Mountain? The whale is positioned at the precise geographic threshold of the Grand Line and does not move from it. (Forward-canonical Ch. 103-104: Laboon is waiting for the Rumbar Pirates, who promised to circle back through the Grand Line and meet him here ~50 years ago.)
  • Why does Laboon have X-scarring all over his body and forehead? Self-inflicted? Other-inflicted? (Forward-canonical Ch. 103-104: self-inflicted by repeatedly headbutting Reverse Mountain in grief — the waiting-promise-as-self-harm doctrine that will pre-load Brook / Rumbar-Pirates lineage ~400 chapters forward.)
