- Charlotte Oven governs the Cacao Island region and apprehends Chiffon as a 'traitor who attempted to kill our queen'; he is 'very particular about the letter of the law' and will not hesitate to punish his own sister.
- Sanji, in disguise to keep Pudding from being branded a traitor too, KOs Oven in a single blow and spirits Chiffon to the harbor without revealing himself ('Black-Leg saved me').
- Pound — Chiffon's father — travels to Cacao to save her but she does not recognize him ('who was that enormous man?'); he is beaten by Oven, then cradles his infant grandson Pez through the rescue.
- Capone Bege's Firetank Pirates ambush Oven's fleet by sea; Bege shoots Oven — 'This is your daddy's WAY OF LIFE,' the line Pound relays to baby Pez, voicing the chapter title.
- Aboard the Thousand Sunny, Carrot asks Chopper whether tonight will be a full moon — a tease at the Minks' hidden power.
- Luffy's Mirro-World strategy: drag the fight out so Katakuri's Observation Haki weakens — 'Haki runs out as you use it.' Towns across the Mirro-World (Chockfull, Chips, Green) phone in sightings of Straw Hat racing around.
- Katakuri's Haki lesson: the real advancement in Haki happens during extreme use in battle; Luffy wonders aloud whether he too could 'see a bit of the future,' and vows to surpass 'the billion-berry man' at his best.

Summary
On Cacao Island, the substitute wedding cake is finished and hailed toward the harbor under the eyes of Pudding, Chiffon and a disguised Sanji, but Charlotte Oven — a stickler “for the letter of the law” — lets the cake pass while seizing Chiffon as a traitor who “attempted to kill our queen.” Their father Pound rushes in crying for his daughter, unrecognized by her; Sanji, unable to break cover lest Pudding be branded a traitor too, knocks Oven out in one disguised blow and carries Chiffon to the port, leaving Pound to take Oven’s beating. Oven uses Chiffon’s plight and the captured Pound to lure Bege’s Firetank Pirates into a port trap, but Bege turns it around: his fleet surrounds Oven by sea and shoots him — Pound, cradling baby Pez, tells the infant, “this is your daddy’s way of life.” Far away on the Thousand Sunny, Carrot asks Chopper whether tonight will bring a full moon. Inside the Mirro-World, Luffy races Katakuri all over the mirror-towns, deliberately prolonging the fight to drain Katakuri’s Observation Haki; Katakuri lectures that Haki sharpens most under extreme battle, and Luffy resolves to surpass the “billion-berry man” at his best — and maybe glimpse the future himself.
New reveals
- Charlotte Oven holds authority over Cacao Island / Chocolat Town and its fleet; “very particular about the letter of the law,” he will execute even his own sister Chiffon for rebellion.
- Sanji can drop Oven in a single hidden kick — and chooses concealment over glory to protect Pudding’s cover.
- Pound is Chiffon’s blood father but she has never known his face; he willingly takes Oven’s abuse and frames his sacrifice as “you were my only true family.”
- Bege runs a counter-ambush: the Firetank fleet boxes in Oven’s ships and shoots him; the title “Way of Life” is Bege’s ruthless protective creed, passed to his infant son Pez.
- Carrot/Chopper full-moon exchange seeds the Minks’ undisclosed power on the eve of a full moon.
- Haki mechanics: Observation Haki depletes with use (“Haki runs out as you use it”) but advances fastest during extreme battle; future-sight is framed as the apex Luffy is reaching toward.
- Katakuri’s bounty is implicitly billion-tier — Luffy calls him “the billion-berry man.”

Open questions raised
- Will Luffy actually awaken future-sight Observation Haki by outlasting Katakuri?
- Tonight is (maybe) a full moon — what is the Minks’ hidden power, and will Carrot use it?
- How badly is Oven hurt — and will the Cacao port stay blockaded against the Sunny’s rendezvous?
- Can Bege, Chiffon, Pound and the cake escape Cacao to meet the fleeing crew at sea?
