- Capone Bege's body-fortress (the 'Nostra Castello') is an amphibious craft: its paddle-wheels transform into tank treads, letting it drive over land — a gimmick he kept secret from his Big Mom Pirates 'allies' because he always meant to betray them.
- Charlotte Oven commands the Cacao Island blockade and wields heat powers ('heat-heat powers'): he boils a wide area of seawater to cook Bege's fleeing ship — first on-page showing of the Heat-Heat Fruit (Netsu Netsu no Mi).

Summary
Off Cacao Island, Bege’s body-fortress is surrounded on sea and land by the Big Mom Pirates under Master Oven, who is ordered to make Bege surrender so the wedding cake Chiffon is hauling can be salvaged. Bege shoots Oven, then springs his fortress’s secret gimmick — its paddle-wheels convert into tank treads, making it an amphibious craft — and tells his “brothers” he never revealed it because he always planned to backstab Big Mom. Sanji hoists the giant cake cart aboard with one leg (to the awe of the harbor and the swooning of Lady Pudding), and the fortress runs Oven over and crashes into the sea, escaping toward the southeast. Oven retaliates by boiling the seawater with his heat powers, threatening to cook the crew, melt the cake’s cream, and ruin the chocolate. As Bege’s son Pez laughs uncontrollably, a large caretaker woman — shown in a 26-years-ago flashback cradling the infant Chiffon and her twin while Linlin gave the babies up — strikes Oven down, cools the water, and tearfully congratulates Chiffon on her wedding before the Nostra Castello breaks free. The chapter cuts to the Thousand Sunny, still fleeing the rampaging Big Mom across her own territory (“Give me that cake!! I found youuu!!!”), with the crew racing to decorate Sanji’s replacement cake in time.
New reveals
- The Nostra Castello is amphibious. Bege’s castle-form ship transforms its paddle-wheels into tank treads (“the ship’s paddles turned into tank treads!!!”, p. 5), letting it drive across land and ram through the chocolate harbor. Bege kept the gimmick secret: “Why would I reveal my secrets to the people I’m planning to backstab?!! Yeah, because I never told you!!” (p. 6).
- Charlotte Oven leads the Cacao Island blockade and has heat powers: he superheats a wide area of seawater so the fish “are literally floating,” boiled (pp. 11-13). VIZ caption: “heat-heat powers at work!! This is Oven’s… There’s only one man who can do this!!” — the first on-page use of the Heat-Heat Fruit (Netsu Netsu no Mi).
- Sanji’s leg strength: he lifts the enormous wedding-cake cart onto the moving fortress with a single leg — “Who is that?! He’s lifting it with one leg… A cook?!” (pp. 7-8).
- Pudding’s infatuation with Sanji is in full bloom: “Sanji, dear ♡” / “Lady Pudding ♡ BLURT” (p. 7) — she is otherwise unconscious/wounded (“Wake up, Lady Pudding!!”, p. 8).
- The caretaker flashback (26 years ago): a large woman cradled the infant Chiffon (and her twin), begging Linlin — “I just want to hold them, like, once!!” — while Big Mom gave the babies away (“The kids are born, I’m done with you now… make sure your mommy and daddy love you very much”, p. 14). In the present she fells Oven, cools the sea, and farewells Chiffon: “Let me just say one thing at the end… Congrats… on your wedding!!” (pp. 13-16).
- Two parallel escapes: Bege’s fortress breaks off Cacao Island (“We made it off Cacao Island!!!”, p. 10) toward the southeastern sea; the Thousand Sunny is still being personally chased by Big Mom across Big Mom’s territory (pp. 16-17).

Payoffs (seeds from earlier chapters that resolve here)
(No earlier seed closes on-page this chapter; Bege’s anti-Big-Mom agenda — long held as a “pending seed” on Capone Bege — is now acted on openly mid-escape, though the full wedding-coup outcome was depicted in the preceding chapters of this arc.)

Open questions raised
- Who is the large caretaker who raised the infant Chiffon, and what is her relationship to Chiffon, Lola, and Big Mom’s household? (Unnamed this chapter.)
- Can Bege’s fortress and the Thousand Sunny both keep ahead of Oven’s fleet and the rampaging Big Mom long enough to deliver the replacement cake?
- Will the boiled/melted cake still satisfy Big Mom’s craving when it’s finally decorated?
