Summary
In the wreckage of the collapsed Whole Cake Chateau, the Charlotte family takes stock of the wedding fiasco: Bege’s betrayal, the failed plot to assassinate Big Mom, and the failed plan to wipe out the Vinsmokes (p. 2). Eldest daughter Compote investigates the unsolved explosion, and word arrives that the Sun Pirates packed up and left and that Jinbei quit them to join the Straw Hats — having taken back his temporary-leave request to buy his comrades escape time (pp. 3-4). Katakuri vows to personally bring down Luffy before he becomes a threat to Mama (p. 5) — but Big Mom’s craving illness erupts again on an abnormally short interval. She rampages through the capital, downs her own son Opera, and is only stopped because head chef Streusen sacrificed himself to save everyone (now unconscious for days) (pp. 6-7). Perospero lies that the Straw Hats stole a backup wedding cake to lure Big Mom away on Zeus (pp. 8-10); with the cake’s legendary ingredients gone and Streusen down, Pudding — flashing her ruthless side — volunteers that she and Chiffon can re-bake the chocolate chiffon cake using a backup ingredient store at Chocolat Town on Cacao Island, if Big Mom is guided there (pp. 11-13). The Straw Hat escape group flees through the Seducing Woods, where Nami commands the tree-homie Kingbaum with Lola’s Vivre Card to carry them straight through — until Big Mom catches up overhead, screaming for her cake (pp. 14-17).
New reveals
- Charlotte Compote — captioned the eldest daughter of Charlotte — is introduced, leading the family’s post-disaster investigation (p. 3).
- Jinbei has joined forces with the Straw Hats: he “took back his request to leave temporarily, in order to give his comrades time to escape,” knowing Mama’s rage would spread (pp. 3-4). The Sun Pirates (“Pirates of the Sun”) packed up and left Totto Land.
- Katakuri declares he will personally bring down Straw Hat Luffy, sensing Luffy “ought to be snuffed out now… before he becomes a true threat to Mama” (p. 5); he takes Brulee with him to pursue (p. 4).
- Big Mom’s craving-illness rampage begins — and she has “never had her fits on such a short interval like this” (p. 6). Standing up to her costs lifespan: she downs Opera (drained; “in her hand”) (p. 7).
- Streusen, the only chef who can re-create the cake, saved everyone with a catastrophic landing and is unconscious for days (pp. 7, 11).
- The cake is unrecoverable normally: legendary ingredients plundered from other countries are gone, and Big Mom never tasted the original (pp. 11-12).
- Pudding’s plan: she and Chiffon (now Bege’s wife, on the enemy side) can re-bake the chocolate chiffon cake using a backup store of materials at Chocolat Town on Cacao Island in Big Mom territory; lure Big Mom there to calm her (pp. 12-13).
- Nami still holds one half of Lola’s (Big Mom’s) Vivre Card — “Only one of them! I cut it in two” — and uses it to command Kingbaum, boss of the Seducing Woods (p. 15).

Open questions raised
- Is Opera dead, or merely drained of lifespan? (He is downed and held “in her hand,” p. 7.)
- Will Pudding genuinely re-bake the cake, or is luring Big Mom to Chocolat Town a trap tied to her hidden agenda and her unresolved feelings about Sanji?
- Can the split Vivre Card (one half taken by the Big Mom Pirates) still reliably command the homies?
- Will guiding Big Mom to Cacao Island / Chocolat Town set the next confrontation there?
