• “Foolish enough to stand up to her,” Brother Opera is struck down by Big Mom during her craving fit; the family fears she drained his lifespan (“look! in her hand!”) (p. 7). • Exposed as a liar: when the Luffys appear, the family realizes Opera “was trying to cover his own rear” by reporting that the Straw Hats died in the prison library (p. 6).

• At the family security meeting, tasked with the Straw Hat prisoners in the underground prison library; he had let them escape and now lies that he burned them to death while torturing them for Lola’s location — terrified Big Mom will take his lifespan for the failure (pp. 11-13).
