Chapter 512: Zolo, Gone

Summary

Admiral Kizaru corners “Dark King” Silvers Rayleigh, who has interposed himself to shield the rookies; Kizaru insists the old Roger-Pirate’s crimes “won’t disappear” and that he must capture the Straw Hats or the Celestial Dragons at Mariejois “won’t be satisfied.” Luffy orders the crew to scatter and look after themselves. Franky spends the last of his cola on a “Coup de Vent” to buy an opening; Rayleigh parries Kizaru’s light sword (“Ama no Murakumo Sword”) with a blade of his own — “it’s been a while since I used a sword” — and the crew breaks for the trees. But they are overwhelmed: Sentomaru and the Kuma-shaped Pacifista PX-1 chase them down, Sentomaru’s blunt “Sumo Strike” hurting even the rubber Luffy, and Tony Tony Chopper erupts into an uncontrolled Monster Point. A second identical Pacifista appears — then “…the real thing!”: the genuine Bartholomew Kuma walks in. He addresses Zoro, muses where he would like to “take a trip,” and paw-blasts him clean off the island. Zolo is gone.

• Sentomaru’s blunt strikes injure the rubber Luffy. His “Sumo Strike” lands hard despite Luffy’s rubber body — “Why are his blunt strikes working on Luffy? He’s supposed to be made of rubber!!” An unexplained will-armament. (pp. 13-14)
• The Pacifista are mass-produced and Kuma-shaped. Sentomaru commands “PX-1” to chase the dying Roronoa; a second identical unit then appears (“ANOTHER ONE!!!”), and only after that does “…the real thing!” — the genuine Kuma — arrive. (pp. 9, 17-18)
• Kuma uses the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi on a person. He asks Zoro where he’d “take a trip,” then paw-blasts him away (“ZAP” / “Run…”) — Zoro vanishes with a paw-pad mark. The first on-page relocation of a person. (pp. 18-19)
• Kizaru’s stated leash: he must capture the Straw Hats “or else the Celestial Dragons at the navy headquarters in Mariejois won’t be satisfied” — the Admiral acting on the World Nobles’ grievance. (p. 3)
