Chapter 425: Bridge of Mortal Combat
This chapter's foreshadowing ledger — what it plants, what it pays off, and what debuts here. Locked seeds pay off beyond your ⚓ progress; tap one to reveal it anyway.
- Firsts
- ROKUOGAN — 'Six King Pistol' (VIZ) — debuts on-page: Rob Lucci's strongest Rokushiki technique, 'what happens when the Six Powers are taken to their extreme' / 'Six Powers Supreme' (pp. 15-16). A point-blank shockwave delivered through both palms that bypasses the body's surface and detonates internally; Luffy compares it to 'the impact dials... on Sky Island, but WAY more powerful!!' (p. 17). This is the SEVENTH named Six Powers technique on-page (after Shigan, Tekkai, Soru, Rankyaku, Geppo, Kami-e) and the first time a Rokushiki finisher is shown.
- The Buster Call bombardment of Enies Lobby is now total: the main island, the undersea passage to the bridge, the Courthouse and Tower of Law have ALL been destroyed (pp. 6-8); the giants (Oimo & Kashii), the Galley-La shipwrights, Zambai's Franky Family ('Sodom and Gomorra too!', 'Yokozuna was probably with them'), and ~50 pirates at the main gate are reported as having NO survivors (pp. 5-9). Only the Bridge of Hesitation remains as 'the only target left' (p. 8).
- Robin states the Buster Call's meaning in full: 'People can't be seen on a map... erasing one small island from the world map. That's what a Buster Call is!!' — the WG annihilates targets 'without any emotion' (pp. 8-9), the thematic core of the order.
- Franky arrives on the bridge to rescue Robin ('We've come to rescue you', 'Bro, let's go home', 'I'm not gonna let you die too!!') and shouts to Luffy 'Your comrades are waiting!! Hurry, Straw Hat!!!' (pp. 8-9).
- Luffy vs Lucci escalates with Gear Second strikes (Jet Pistol, Jet Bullet, Twin Jet Pistol, Jet Pistol again) traded against Lucci's leopard-hybrid Rokushiki (Finger Pistol / Shigan), ending with Lucci dropping Luffy with Rokuogan — but Luffy is still conscious ('He's still alive?!', 'He won't... die, will he?', pp. 17-19).

Summary
The Buster Call bombardment razes Enies Lobby to nothing: the main island, the undersea bridge passage, the Courthouse and Tower of Law are gone, and the giants, the Galley-La shipwrights, the Franky Family and the gate-defending pirates are reported with no survivors — leaving only the Bridge of Hesitation as the last target. Nami, Sanji and the others ready the escape ship but can’t launch with warships everywhere. On the bridge, Robin spells out what a Buster Call truly is — erasing one small island from the world map “without any emotion” — as Franky reaches her to bring her home and shouts at Luffy to hurry. Luffy’s duel with Rob Lucci resumes: Gear-Second strikes against the leopard-man’s Rokushiki, climaxing when Lucci unveils his strongest, secret technique — Rokuogan, the “Six King Pistol,” the Six Powers “taken to their extreme” — and drops Luffy with an internal shockwave. Luffy, battered, is still breathing. Spandam orders the fleet to ring the bridge, sure that Luffy is dead; Luffy huffs back to his feet.
New reveals
- ROKUOGAN (“Six King Pistol”, VIZ) debuts (pp. 15-16) — Lucci’s strongest, secret Six Powers technique: “Six Powers Supreme… our strongest technique… what happens when the Six Powers are taken to their extreme. I’ll show you…” A two-palm point-blank strike that delivers a shockwave THROUGH the target’s body and detonates internally — the SEVENTH named Rokushiki technique and the first Rokushiki finisher shown on-page.
- Luffy diagnoses Rokuogan’s mechanic on-page: “It’s like the impact dials… on Sky Island, but WAY more powerful!!” (p. 17) — an explicit callback tying the internal-shockwave technique to Impact Dials.
- The Enies Lobby Buster Call is now total — the main island, undersea bridge passage, Courthouse and Tower of Law are all destroyed; the giants, Galley-La shipwrights, Franky Family (Sodom, Gomorra, “Yokozuna was probably with them”) and ~50 pirates at the gate are reported with no survivors. Only the Bridge of Hesitation is left.
- Robin’s full Buster Call statement: “People can’t be seen on a map… erasing one small island from the world map. That’s what a Buster Call is!!” — annihilation “without any emotion.”
- Franky reaches Robin to rescue her (“Bro, let’s go home”) and orders Luffy to hurry to his waiting crew.

Open questions raised
- How many total techniques the Six Powers comprise — Rokuogan is now revealed as a capstone above the six demonstrated forms; is it itself counted among the “six,” or a higher synthesis?
- Can Luffy survive and reverse a direct Rokuogan? (He is still conscious at chapter’s end.)
- What is the ultimate fate of the allies (giants, shipwrights, Franky Family) reported as having no survivors — confirmed dead or feared dead?
