Summary

Aboard the lightning-driven ark, Enel reveals his vessel to a captive Nami: the Ark Maxim, a flying ship that “runs on lightning” and is unique in the world — and the reason the gold hidden on the island “comes in handy.” He declares they can travel in it to “Endless Varse,” and that the island’s people are lucky: before they die they will witness a flying ship. Meanwhile, in the ancient ruins of Shandora, the giant snake Nola yawns and Luffy bursts free from inside her, landing in the ruins with Aisa. Luffy finds the badly beaten Zolo (Zoro) and Robin — felled by Wyper (“the guy with the bazooka”); Robin notes her Mantra didn’t work while she was inside the snake. Robin explains that Enel — the “Kami” — took the navigator, that he intends to destroy Skypiea (“return everyone in the sky back down to earth”), and that he will head to where the gold bell is. Aisa, with her Mantra, senses two voices moving around the island — Enel and Nami — and Luffy demands: “Take me to them!!”
