Summary

On Egghead, the watching Marines reel as CP0 turns on itself: the courtesan-agent Stussy has been a deep-cover mole “on our side for over two decades,” and she fights dirty — sea-prism stone plus a vampiric bite — to put both Rob Lucci and Kaku to sleep (pp. 2-4). With Lucci neutralized his command over the Seraphim can’t be overridden by Shaka alone, so a winged Seraphim duels Zoro until Edison and sea-prism stone halt them (pp. 5-9). As the Vegapunk group readies its escape, narration delivers the cliffhanger: Dr. Vegapunk’s true self, the Stella, is nowhere to be found, and Jewelry Bonney has vanished too (p. 9). The chapter then cuts to Sphinx, Whitebeard’s New-World hometown, where Marco recounts how Navy forces hunting “Whitebeard’s treasure” were routed by Edward Weevil — who was then captured by Admiral Ryokugyu and imprisoned — while his mother, captioned Buckingham Stussy (“MADS Freeloader, Former Rocks Pirate, self-styled scientist”), rages for her son and claims Dr. Vegapunk himself can prove Weevil is Whitebeard’s son (pp. 10-14). Finally, aboard a Marine vessel, Kizaru brings refreshments to the Five Elders, where the apex authority is named on-page for the first time: St. Jaygarcia Saturn, who admits he met Vegapunk just once long ago and finds this “most… regrettable” (p. 15).
