Wano Country (Ch. 913) — first appearance
- Introduces himself as “Urashima, the greatest sumo wrestler in Wano!!” — a self-styled yokozuna “from the big city” (pp. 15–16). Harasses the teahouse waitress Okiku to become his wife, dangling clean farm food and a life of ease, and sneers at “dumplings and tea made from leftover scraps.” See Okiku Teahouse Waitress Carries Herself Like A Samurai.
Wano Country (Ch. 915)
- Revealed as the undefeated yokozuna of the Flower Capital, running a public sumo tournament in Bakura Town: 19 challengers beaten, doctors tally 88 broken bones plus four missing contestants, with a 500 gold-koban prize to anyone who beats him.
- Publicly claims Okiku as his betrothed and declares the commoners “chattel” (see Wano Class System). Humiliated when Okiku slices off his topknot (p. 17).
Wano Country (Ch. 916)
- After Okiku sheared his topknot (Ch. 915), the enraged yokozuna attacks her with killing sumo blows (Far Bank Slap, Bodhisattva Slap, and the rule-breaking Eye-/Ear-Splitter) until Luffy (“Luffytaro”) catches the slap and challenges him to a bout (pp. 3-12).
- Defeated in one blow by Luffy’s “Gum-Gum Sumo Slap (Giant),” launched clear across Bakura Town into Holdem’s building (pp. 13-14, 18).
