Summary

On the Kuja fighting arena, Luffy duels the two Gorgon Sisters — Sandersonia (Snake-Snake Fruit, Anaconda Model) and Marigold (Snake-Snake Fruit, King Cobra Model) — a fight he insists is to free the petrified warrior Marguerite. The watching Snake Princess Hancock dismisses the match as a public execution and orders her sisters to “let him fall victim to the war dance.” The sisters read Luffy’s every move with Haki, shrug off his rubber attacks (a kick with the right leg still hurts him), and mock outer-sea fighters who “don’t know how to use Haki.” When the sisters move to crush the stone Marguerite as Luffy’s “punishment,” his fury detonates as an invisible force — Conqueror’s Haki — that drops the surrounding Kuja warriors unconscious. The crowd recognizes it as “the Haki of the Supreme King,” a power “only one in millions” of “the chosen ones” possess, which only Hancock herself was known to wield — declaring Luffy a “natural born king” who “hasn’t learned to control it yet.” Luffy steels himself: from now on, he won’t hold back.
