Summary

On a government island ringed by bubble-coral trees (Sabaody-like), a Marine Commodore holds the captured Caribou at gunpoint; to save himself Caribou offers to sell intel only the Straw Hats and he possess — that the ancient weapon Poseidon is Shirahoshi’s power and that Pluton slumbers beneath Wano — begging to be taken to “Master Teech” (Blackbeard). On Egghead, the Buster Call collapses into chaos: the pirate-controlled Pacifistas with bubble shields are sinking the Navy’s own ships, and the Vice Admirals (Guillotine, Hound, Bluegrass, Doberman, Tosa, Pomsky, Urban) cannot cancel the operation — Doberman orders every VA to abandon post and kill the fleeing Jewelry Bonney. Two warriors of Elbaf giants land on the northeast coast hunting the Straw Hat crew (whom they’ve studied via bounty posters at the word of a “Scholar”), declare themselves friends, and agree to ferry the researchers to their ship as the island burns. The mortally wounded Vegapunk reveals he had meant to withhold Bonney’s special “authority” until she was grown, begs that she be kept safe, and is carried off by Sanji at Gear 5 Luffy’s order while Luffy plants himself to hold off the monstrously transforming Gorosei Saturn — “You guys aren’t going anywhere!!!” As the dying Stella smiles, a transmission fires across the world: “I am Dr. Vegapunk… Come in, world…” — his pre-recorded message to all begins.

• Vegapunk’s worldwide broadcast begins (the chapter’s namesake): a transmission system activates and the recorded Stella addresses the entire world — “I am Dr. Vegapunk, a humble genius scientist.
