Structural lore — what Oda has confirmed about this. Mysteries (unsolved questions) live in Vault/Threads/; this is what the world IS.

Imu’s stated doctrine of rule (Ch. 1181 pp. 9–12, via the descended Imu-form): a trinity of (1) Corruption — “when power so lusted after… is too easily gained” (illustrated by the demonized giants); (2) Covenants — “choosing servitude out of self-interest” (the WG’s sacred contract system, cf. The Covenant); (3) Omen — “the envy that seeks to achieve one’s goals” (the black flames, cf. Omen). “These form the trinity… of what we call DOMINATION!!!” — and “Domination… is the only true bliss in the world!!” (p. 12). Loki reframes it: “So your power… is God’s Domination?! I think you mean… a contract with the devil…”; the Imu-form: “God? Devil? What is the difference?” (p. 11). Likely the umbrella behind Gunko’s “Domi Reversi” technique naming — inference, not stated on-page.

Open questions about this topic

  • Imu Identity — what is the doctrine’s origin; how literal is “God”; who taught/coined it?
  • Five Elders True Nature — do the Elders’ powers slot into the trinity (Omen as the black-flame signature — inference)?
  • Is “Domi Reversi” (Gunko’s technique) named for Domination? (Inference — not stated on-page.)
