The Grand Line is geometrically determined to funnel toward the goal-island. This is the load-bearing world-building beat of the chapter — the seven-routes-one-destination structure is the physical-geography correlate of the all-pirates-arrive-at-Roger’s-prize narrative thesis. Every pirate, no matter which Grand Line route they begin from, converges on the same endpoint. The geography enforces the narrative.
