Built on the **gondola** — both the {gondola lift} (a cable car that hauls people up the air, matching its Red-Line function) and, in silhouette, the Venetian **gondola** boat. As the cabins are explicitly **bubble**-borne on-page (Sabaody-style bubble coating), the coinage most likely fuses bubble (シャボン *shabon*) + gondola (ゴンドラ *gondora*) → *bon-dora*, i.e. a 'bubble-gondola.'

- Ch. 905: Bondolas are bubble-based lifts at Red Port that carry people up the Red Line to Sacred Marijoa. Each is a sealed bubble cabin riding cables; guards fear crows could pop the bubbles and send riders plummeting (pp. 5, 11-13, 17). First named Ch. 905.
