Profile

An 8-year-old noble boy adopted by Sabo’s aristocrat family in the Goa Kingdom as a “promising” replacement heir. Debuts Ch. 586 (introduction scene, p. 6 — “My name is Stelly. I’m 8 years old…”). Spiteful toward Sabo (“Get away from me, trash boy!”), he carelessly reveals the kingdom’s secret plan to burn Gray Terminal — with its residents inside — to impress the visiting Celestial Dragons / World Government inspection team (pp. 6-9). (Name-pin #8: VIZ “Stelly”; the later “Sterry” spelling is a forward databook layer — kept as alias only.)

Arc-by-arc updates

Reverie aftermath (Ch. 956)

  • Aboard the Goa Kingdom Royal Escort Ship, reacts in shock to news that his brother (Sabo) was at Marijoa: “My brother?! …He was in Marijoa?!” (p. 9). Reconfirms Stelly = Sabo’s biological brother and the King of Goa. See Sabo’s Fate at Marijoa.

Reverie — shown the Empty Throne (Ch. 907)

  • As King of Goa, is led to make the Reverie oath and shown the Empty Throne, which he comically covets — “If I sit up there… I’ll be king of the world!!” (pp. 7-8).

Reverie — King of Goa at Marijoa (Ch. 905)

  • Attends the Reverie as King of Goa Kingdom with Queen Sally Isntoinette. Title-carded “Stelly — King of Goa Kingdom, East Blue (Sabo’s foster brother)” (p. 9).
  • Demands Garp’s noble connections so he can become a Celestial Dragon “as soon as possible” and treats Garp as his “subject” (pp. 9-10).
  • The “King Stelly Refresher” recap: he married into the royal family and ascended the throne “a few months ago after the untimely death of the king and prince”; he is the younger adopted brother of Sabo’s noble family (p. 10).
  • Closing cliffhanger: a hidden figure rests a hand on him — “Please be at ease, King Stelly… heh heh” (p. 17). See Crows And A Hidden Figure Signal Revolutionary Infiltration Of The Reverie.

Zou / Reverie prelude — now King of Goa (Ch. 823)

  • Adult Stelly is now King of the Goa Kingdom (”…King Stelly!!”), married to Queen Sally Isntoinette, lodging at the Reverie-noble hotel in Roguetown (p. 6). Pays off the etymology note’s anticipated “future queen Sarie Nantokanette (~Ch. 0823).”

Post-War — childhood flashback / gloating over the genocide (Ch. 587)

  • The obedient, favored adopted son Sabo’s father holds up against the runaway Sabo. Gleefully celebrates the Gray Terminal genocide — “I’m just glad those rogues got burned up. I heard Bluejam’s ship burned in the end” — and is rewarded with promised gifts and a front-row view of the visiting Celestial Dragons (p. 18). Embodies the aristocracy’s casual cruelty against which Sabo rebels.

Post-War — childhood flashback / the Gray Terminal fire (Ch. 586) — first appearance
