Summary
On Onigashima, Marco the Phoenix duels Big Mom and Perospero: his Phoenix flames hold “special properties” that scorch Big Mom’s Prometheus, but Perospero pins him with a candy attack (“Moon Raid”) using Mama’s help. Carrot and Wanda burst in transformed into Sulong under the Fire-Festival full moon, hunting Perospero as the man who killed Pedro; they tell Marco to leave Big Mom and go, and he flies off to the Performance Floor inside the Skull Dome. There, Queen has loosed a contact-spreading oni-plague — victims turn into oni when their bodies are chilled and need antibodies — forcing the captured Apoo to keep fighting; X Drake (his ruse exposed) brawls with Apoo while trying to break away to help Kin’emon, and Queen marks Sanji and Zoro (Vinsmoke Judge’s son and “the number two”) for quick elimination. Brook proves immune (no blood or warmth) while Chopper is infected and “going to die.” Meanwhile Ulti and her brother Page One corner Usopp and Otama: Page One’s Spinosaurus “Mortar” tail smashes Usopp’s Green Star plant, and Ulti headbutts Otama, demanding she declare that “my captain will never be King of the Pirates.” Otama instead vows Luffy will be Pirate King and won’t stop until he is — her kunoichi’s oath — and is saved at the last second when Komachiyo charges in and bites Ulti.
