Chapter 710: To Green Bit

This chapter's foreshadowing ledger — what it plants, what it pays off, and what debuts here. Locked seeds pay off beyond your ⚓ progress; tap one to reveal it anyway.

Firsts
  • Greenbit's interior is shown on-page for the first time — a wild, overgrown jungle island, the Caesar hand-off point
  • The strait to Greenbit is infested with giant horned fighting fish that capsize ships and tear up the iron bridge; unseen islanders net and eat them ('fighting fish stew')
  • A wrecked Marine battleship is jammed into Greenbit's far shore — the hand-off details have leaked; Law denies orchestrating it ('sheer coincidence') with a 'wicked look'
  • Greenbit, supposedly uninhabited, is home to fast, near-invisible 'little people'; Robin catches one with Campo de Flores and reveals 'they're little people!!' — the first on-page appearance of the dwarf race
  • One of the little people introduces himself by name: 'I'm Leo!!'
  • Law is conserving Ope Ope no Mi stamina (his powers sap his stamina with overuse) for the coming fight against Doflamingo
  • Caesar is unshackled to fight the fish with his gas powers (the team notes his 300-million bounty), then calls 'Joker' to set the 3 o'clock southeast-beach hand-off
  • Caesar frets that with Joker having quit the Seven Warlords, no law protects him — 'Joker's no more than an ordinary pirate at this point'
  • At the colosseum, Bellamy tells Luffy he 'ain't changed a bit,' calling it pathetic — 'now my pride is shredded and tattered'

Summary

Two threads run in parallel. At the Corrida Colosseum, Luffy and the broken mercenary Bellamy trade words — Bellamy insists he “ain’t changed a bit,” calls his own state “pathetic,” and laments that “now my pride is shredded and tattered,” while nearby fighters startle at the name “Straw Hat.” The bulk of the chapter follows the Caesar hand-off teamTrafalgar Law, Nico Robin, Usopp, and the shackled hostage Caesar Clown — as they cross the long iron bridge toward Greenbit, the uninhabited island north of Dressrosa, with forty-five minutes until the deal. Packs of giant horned fighting fish swarm the collapsing bridge from both sides; Robin (Mil Fleurs: Gigantesco Mano), Usopp (Pop Greens — “Green Star,” “Skull Blast-Grass”), and a reluctant, stamina-hoarding Law fend them off, and Caesar is briefly unshackled to blast them with gas (“no wonder the guy’s worth three hundred million”). Mysteriously, the fish stop dead — netted and dragged away by unseen voices of people who supposedly don’t live on the “uninhabited” island, who feed on “fighting fish stew.” Caesar floats the team across the ship-choked water to Greenbit, a wild overgrown jungle, where they find a wrecked Marine battleship jammed into the far shore — the hand-off details have leaked. Law denies arranging it (“it’s sheer coincidence”) wearing a “wicked look,” then sends Robin and Usopp into the forest as sniper-and-intel while he stays at the beach guarding Caesar for the 3 o’clock hand-off. In the forest the Marines and the Straw Hats are both ambushed by fast, near-invisible attackers who strip the sailors to their underwear; one calls out “I’m Leo!!” Robin sweeps the area with Campo de Flores, snags her attackers, and discovers the truth: “…they’re little people!!”
