Summary

En route with their new companions Hatchan, Camie and Pappag, the Straw Hats are swarmed by the Flying Fish Riders, a gang mounted on flying fish, while the fish-man Macro Gang — who caged Hatchan and grabbed Camie — tries to make off with their captives. Luffy, Chopper and Brook (all Devil-Fruit users) keep getting knocked into the sea and have to be fished out; Hatchan is freed by Zoro and wrecks the Macro Gang with his six-sword “Octopus Fritter Frenzy.” Brook joins his first real fight as a Straw Hat, lulling riders to sleep with his “Lullaby Parry” — “It’s not a trick, it’s music!” The battle climaxes when Luffy is launched into the riders’ base and crashes into the boss’s room: a masked, horned man who looms over him and says, “You know me… don’t you?” Luffy recoils — “Uh-oh! It’s you!!” — and the chapter cuts on the boss’s hidden identity.
