Summary
At the Flying Fish Riders’ sea-fortress hideout, the Straw Hats — now traveling with the mermaid Camie and the starfish Pappag and trying to rescue the captured Hachi — fight off waves of mounted Flying Fish Riders who have orders to “kill everyone.” Brook, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Robin and Franky cut down the fish-riders on and around the Thousand Sunny, but the Riders refuse to let them move the ship. Their masked boss, Duval, charges in on his iron-masked bison Motobaro, declaring he has waited years to kill “Black Foot” Sanji — even though Sanji has never met him. When Luffy rips off Duval’s iron mask, the reveal lands: Duval’s bare face is the exact likeness of the botched, hand-drawn sketch on Sanji’s wanted poster. Mistaken for the pirate Sanji, Duval was hunted by the Navy and bounty hunters until his life was destroyed — “Ah ain’t even a pirate!” Sanji answers the sob story with a kick.
