Firsts
  • Oars's body and Luffy's stolen shadow have 'finally fused completely' — the masterwork special zombie is now an OBEDIENT zombie who declares 'My master... is Moria!!!' (pp. 6, after the out-of-control rampage of 0462) (pp. 6-7).
  • Moria gives Oars his first mission: find every Straw Hat shown on the wanted posters, crush them, and dump them back on their ship — 'If they perish, so be it!! Those with bounties of over 100 million won't die just because you beat on them!!' (p. 7).
  • Cindry's reanimated body refuses to obey Hogback — Robin deduces 'it's as if the original owner of the body is resisting'; Cindry says the original owner of her body 'died ten years ago' and that her body 'can't move' even to save Hogback from being crushed (pp. 2-3, 10-11).
  • Absalom, invisible, snatches the still-sleeping (drugged) Nami away from Sanji in the church to make her his 'bride' again (pp. 13-16).
  • Oars still wields Luffy's Gum-Gum techniques imperfectly — 'Gum-Gum... (even though I can't stretch)... Bell!!!' headbutt — driving home that the shadow grants Luffy's powers through a non-rubber body (p. 8).
  • Oars (branded SZ-900) bellows out the Straw Hats to fight — 'Straw Hat Pirates!!! ...Come out here!!!!' — and Zoro grins 'Sounds like fun!!!', framing the crew-vs-their-own-zombie showdown (pp. 18-19).

Summary

The Thriller Bark fights converge on the rampaging special zombie. In the Mast Mansion, Robin and Chopper corner Hogback and his stitched maid-zombie Cindry — but Cindry’s body “can’t move” to obey: Robin reads it as “the original owner of the body resisting,” and Cindry, whose body’s original owner “died ten years ago,” weeps that she cannot follow her master’s orders. Robin restrains Cindry (Doce Fleurs) and she and Chopper suplex the raging Hogback (the Robi-cho Suplex, via Pierna Fleurs), Hogback shrieking to protect his “genius brain.” Downstairs in the special freezer, Luffy reaches Oars — “twice as big as the giants” — just as Moria announces that Oars’s body and Luffy’s stolen shadow have “finally fused completely”: the masterwork is now an obedient zombie and names Moria his master. Moria hands Oars his first mission — hunt down, crush, and re-ship every Straw Hat on the wanted posters — and Oars, ignoring Luffy’s pleas to his own shadow, attacks with a Gum-Gum headbutt (“even though I can’t stretch… Bell!!!”). Oars smashes through floor after floor: Hogback and Cindry fall to a lower level, Oars stomps the tower, and Cindry again refuses to lift the rubble off her cruel master. Oars’s foot crashes into the church where Sanji is guarding the still-drugged, sleeping Nami; in the chaos the invisible Absalom spirits Nami away to wed her as his “bride,” leaving Sanji raging. As the mansion buckles, the rank-and-file zombies flee — Perona is out cold and foaming, Kumacy and the lieutenant downed by Usopp — and Usopp runs to warn Robin and Chopper that their wanted posters are stuck to Oars’s arm and “he’s totally after us.” Oars (branded SZ-900) bellows the chapter’s title — “Straw Hat Pirates!!! Come out here!!!!” — and Zoro grins: “Sounds like fun!!!”
