  • Etymology (resolved): イトミミズ = Japanese for the tubifex / sludge worm (the thin red mud-worm; lit. “thread-worm”). Fans call him “Tubifex.” (One Piece Wiki Trivia confirms.) Note the layer: a worm-named announcer who bills himself as a “Super Sparrow” — sparrows eat worms.
