The gauntlet refuted the fruit-identity version (SBS Vol 45 shows Shanks recognized only the disguise name; his crew still call it “just rubber” at Ch. 1054; he never reached Laugh Tale per Ch. 967). What the text does support is a general Shanks-backs-Luffy long-game — recognition by words at Ch. 506, the arm given “for the new era” at Ch. 1, and privileged WG-apex access at Ch. 907. The prediction bets that when Oda finally reveals Shanks’s motive, it lands on the will/hat channel and explicitly not on the fruit’s Nika identity.

Be specific — the cleaner the falsifier, the more honest the prediction:

• A flashback in which Shanks’s stated motive for backing Luffy is the fruit’s Nika / Sun God / Hito Hito no Mi identity (rather than the will or the straw hat) would refute this — it would revive the very SC4 the gauntlet killed.
• A reveal that Shanks was not deliberately backing Luffy at all — that the arm-loss and hat handoff were incidental, not a chosen long-game — would refute the “deliberate” core.
