- ギョンコルド広場 Gyonkorudo Hiroba — a pun on 魚 gyo ('fish') + the Place de la Concorde in Paris, the square where King Louis XVI was guillotined during the French Revolution. The execution-site reference is structurally apt: this is the plaza where Queen Otohime is assassinated by a hidden sniper (Ch. 626) and where the New Fish-Man Pirates later stage King Neptune's public execution (Ch. 631–632) — the name encodes the location's recurring role as the kingdom's royal killing-ground/execution platform before any of that violence plays out. The VIZ/Funimation rendering 'Conchcorde' additionally puns on 'conch' (a sea snail), fitting the undersea kingdom.

The central plaza of the Ryugu Kingdom on Fish-Man Island (VIZ caption “CONCHCORDE PLAZA,” Ch. 626 p. 4). In the Otohime flashback it is the forum where Queen Otohime rallies the kingdom for her mass signature-gathering campaign to petition for surface emigration — and the site of her assassination, where the signature box is set ablaze and the queen is shot dead by a hidden sniper (pp. 4-14).

Confidence: high · ギョンコルド広場 Gyonkorudo Hiroba puns on 魚 gyo (‘fish’) + the Place de la Concorde in Paris — the square where King Louis XVI was guillotined during the French Revolution. Oda picks an execution-square namesake for the one plaza that becomes the kingdom’s killing-ground: Queen Otohime is assassinated here (Ch. 626) and King Neptune’s public execution is staged here (Ch. 631–Ch. 632) — the name encodes the function before the violence lands.
