Summary

Inside Impel Down, the guards scramble to recapture escaped prisoners: a disguised escapee posing as a beautiful woman tricks the demon-faced Vice Warden into opening a gate in the Level 4 torture-instrument storeroom, while chief jailer Sadi and a poison-overdosed Magellan mobilize the floors (Level 2 Beast, Level 3 Starvation, Level 4 Inferno). The truth of the “vanished” prisoners is revealed: they are hidden in New Kama Land, Impel Down’s secret Level 5.5, an okama paradise ruled by the legendary Emporio Ivankov, “the miracle worker” and (missing) Queen of the Kamabakka Queendom. Bon Clay wakes there after 10 hours — saved from freezing by Ivankov’s right hand Inazuma — and meets Ivankov, who demonstrates his hormone powers by deflecting a vengeful prince’s cannonball with his “Death Wink” and forcibly turning the prince into a woman. Bon Clay begs Ivankov to save the dying “Straw Boy” (Luffy), poisoned by Magellan; Ivankov reveals he already began treating Luffy ten hours ago — because Luffy, while dying, passionately begged them to save Bon Clay first.
