Summary
The tea party convenes atop Whole Cake Chateau. From the rooftop, Vito of the Fire Tank Pirates gawks as Big News Morgans (President of the WEJ) chats with the head of Germa. Big Mom parades her ministers and generals — Compote (Minister of Fruit), Perospero (Minister of Candy), Oven, Daifuku, General Smoothie, General Katakuri — then enshrines Mother Carmel’s portrait at the entrance, flying into a rage when a guest dares ask who Carmel is. Guests heap treasure-chest gifts on her; the legendary Tamate Box is presented, and Big Mom announces she will open it publicly at the grand banquet after Pudding’s wedding. Below, Capone Bege finishes his coup preparations: a horned Transponder Snail jams all radio signals, every hallway is sealed, and the sleeping Straw Hat assault team and a coerced Caesar Clown wait inside his Big Father fortress — Caesar’s job is to seize Brulee’s mirror “when the scream starts” and fly everyone out. In the ninth-floor waiting room, Pudding rehearses her doe-eyed bride act while a spying Sanji nosebleeds into the wall, and observers confirm “she’s putting on an act.” The MC announces the “Mariage de Raison” joining Vinsmoke Sanji and Charlotte Pudding, allying Germa 66 with the Big Mom Pirates, as Sanji marvels: “What an actor!!”
New reveals
- Big Mom introduces her command tier by title: Compote (eldest daughter, Minister of Fruit), Perospero (eldest son, Minister of Candy), Oven (fourth son), Daifuku (third son), Smoothie (14th daughter, General), Katakuri (second son, General). “General” is the VIZ rendering of the Sweet Commander rank.
- Mother Carmel’s portrait is enshrined at the tea-party entrance and revered by the Charlotte children as “the light of the world.” Big Mom flies into a violent rage when a first-time guest asks who Carmel is — “Don’t you dare pry into my precious memories!!!”
- The Tamate Box (“chest of legend,” from the dynasty of the underwater kings, said to have slipped from Neptune’s grasp) is presented to Big Mom; she intends to open it publicly at the grand banquet after Pudding’s ceremony.
- Caesar Clown is held inside Bege’s fortress and coerced into the plan: when the scream starts he must take Brulee’s mirror and fly the team into/out of the party — “that’s our only means of escape.”
- A horned Transponder Snail jams all radio signals to isolate the party; every hallway above the gate is sealed.
- Pudding’s bridal sweetness is explicitly an act (observers: “She’s putting on an act!!” / “She’s gonna kill you!!”).
- The wedding is framed as a “Mariage de Raison” (marriage of convenience) allying Germa 66 and the Big Mom Pirates; Sanji is announced as the third son of Vinsmoke, Pudding as the 35th Charlotte daughter.
