Summary

While Luffy is occupied elsewhere, the rest of the Straw Hats — joined by Jinbei — mop up the New Fish-Man Pirates’ officer corps in the Gyoncorde Plaza battle, each member casually overwhelming an enemy who out-classed them two years ago. Tony Tony Chopper reveals he can now hold a fully controlled Monster Point for three minutes on a single Rumble Ball; Usopp routs fish-men with his Pop Green plant artillery (Humandrake, Trampolia, Impact Wolf); Brook freezes and downs an officer with “Song of Scratches” → Blizzard Slice; Franky vaporizes the giant-squid officer Ikaros Much with the Franky Radical Beam; Jinbei (Fish-Man Karate Vagabond Drill) and a flying, flame-shrouded Sanji (Hell Memories, invoking his “two horrible years”) together deflate and finish the giant puffer fish-man Wadatsumi; and Zoro — who keeps mistaking the octopus-swordsman Hyouzou for a “frog” — cuts him down with Purgatory Oni Giri. Zoro’s tally: “All the officers are down.”

• Chopper’s controlled Monster Point. Chopper has learned to fight in Monster Point for three minutes with a Rumble Ball without going berserk (p. 2) — the payoff of his post-timeskip training, framed so allies can finally rely on the form instead of fearing it.
• Hyouzou’s full self-introduction. The octopus mercenary names himself “Hyouzou, the master of the Octopus Eight Swords Style” and “the best on Fish-Man Island,” wielding poison blades (p. 18). His octopus limbs are why Zoro keeps calling him a frog.
• The officer corps falls in one sweep. Hyouzou, Ikaros Much, Dosun, Zeo, Daruma, and the Flying-Pirates giant Wadatsumi are all defeated; Zoro states flatly “All the officers are down!!!” (p. 19) — the enhanced-by-Energy-Steroids elite is no match for the timeskip-trained crew.
• Sanji’s “two horrible years.” Sanji’s “Hell Memories” Diable Jambe is explicitly fueled by memory of “those two horrible years… those abject terrors” (p. 16) — an oblique reference to the trauma of his timeskip training.
• Jinbei fights as a crew ally. A bystander confirms Jinbei “was a Warlord” (p. 14); the former Warlord fights shoulder-to-shoulder with the Straw Hats against Wadatsumi.
