Chapter 1093: Luffy vs. Kizaru

Summary

Gear-5 Luffy and Admiral Kizaru trade blows across the Labophase while the Vegapunk satellites and Straw Hats race to escape the sealed island. The satellites realize that with no higher authority present than Vegapunk, whoever controls the Pacifistas wins, so Atlas breaks off to retake command of them while Sanji peels off to rescue Bonney, who was kicked into the Frontier Dome barrier. In the Fabriophase, Bonney flees the Marines hunting her; a burned-but-living Sentomaru appears and tells her to run before the Navy arrives. In the Labophase, Zoro fights the awakened leopard-form Rob Lucci, who declares the “number two of an Emperor” worth killing on his own. Kizaru sends Luffy plunging toward the ocean and unleashes the Yasakani Sacred Jewel light barrage and the Ama no Murakumo Sword, but Gear-5 Luffy fools him with rubbery clone tricks — Dawn Whip and Dawn Stamp. Determined to save Bonney himself, the original Vegapunk boards a VEGATANK8 (“I won’t leave that poor little child behind to die!!”), only for a dark assailant to bar his path. The chapter closes at the coast of Egghead: Vegapunk issues new orders to every Pacifista — “Wipe out all Navy sailors on this island!!!”
