- Original name **ゴーイング・ルフィ先輩号** (*Gōingu Rufi-senpai-gō*, 'Going Luffy-senpai'); VIZ 'Mister Luffy Go.' A fanboy-homage name in three parts: **'Going'** directly echoes the Straw Hats' first ship, the **Going Merry** (ゴーイング・メリー号) — Bartolomeo modeled his vessel's name on his idol's ship (the hull is likewise styled after the Thousand Sunny, with a Straw-Hat lion figurehead and a Chopper-hat/antler stern); **'Luffy-senpai'** (ルフィ先輩) uses 先輩 *senpai*, the Japanese honorific for a revered senior — Bartolomeo's worshipful term for Luffy, which VIZ localizes as 'Mister'; **'号' (-gō)** is the standard Japanese vessel-name suffix (cf. ゴーイング・メリー号, サウザンド・サニー号), rendered by VIZ as 'Go.'
